So what is a forum?
A forum may also be called an internet forum or message board.
It is website where people with a common interest can hold conversations, ask questions and upload images and attachments and much more!
A conversation in an internet forum is called a thread, and consists of messages from the members of that forum.
These forum messages or posts can be easily viewed by all the members of the forum, and can be archived.
Threads with a similar theme, e.g. identification queries can be grouped together to form a topic.
Forums can have different security settings to prevent unwanted posts by unaffiliated people (eg. spam), or to allow unregistered people to view the forum as a guest but they are not allow to post without registering and being approved by the moderators
